Sizing Information for Robes
Robe Sizing Chart and Custom Length Measurement Instructions
You will find our robes have many extra details, including side seam pockets, microphone opening in top of pockets, full length, separating zippers, removable shoulder pads, generous sizing and custom hem and sleeve lengths (except Quick Ship styles).
ROBE: To measure for correct hemming
Very important! For this to be correct you need another person to help you. These are measured from your back. For all measurements wear shoes with the heel height you will usually wear with your robe. Using a cloth tape measure helps ensure accurate measurements. Please give us all measurements in inches.
Height A-C: Measure height with usual heel height you would wear with robe. A to C in chart above.
Back measurement B-C: Measure at back of neck, from prominent bone at base of neck B to floor C while wearing shoes that are the heel height usually worn with robe. This should be 9 - 10 inches less than your height above.
Floor clearance C-D: Desired distance from floor C to D. How high above the floor you want your robe bottom. For robes we suggest 4 - 5 inch floor clearance. Albs may be longer, 11/2 to 3 inch floor clearance.
Sleeve length B-E: With arm hanging loosely at your side, measure from B Base of neck at center back over shoulder top and down along outer arm to E. Which is at least 1 inch past your wrist bone (or longer, to your desired sleeve length).
ROBE: To measure for correct size
- Measure at bust, waist and fullest part of hip over clothing if wearing robe over clothes. We request body measurements when ordering certain styles, some robes run looser than others.
