It's Official!

WomenSpirit was founded in 1995 by Patty Fitzpatrick to offer high quality, beautiful custom robes and vestments for female clergy. By 2007, requests for men’s robes inspired Patty to introduce Abiding Spirit. While appearing to be two different companies, all of the vestments continue to be handmade in our Kansas City small batch production studio. In April of 2019, Patty sold the two companies to longtime friends. Lonnie Vanderslice and Kelly Wilson were excited to continue Patty’s legacy and grow the companies. You may have noticed the name change online, but unfortunately, the unexpected loss of Lonnie followed by the COVID pandemic derailed our official merger.

Fast forward to 2023 and we are thrilled to officially offer the same high quality, handcrafted, and custom made vestments you know and love, under a new name - Sacred Stitches.
